The construction/build of your PC comes with a 2 year quality guarantee & warranty. This means if any hardware related issues appear within the first 2 year period PC GAMER will diagnose the issue, and then manage the warranty replacement process of any faulty parts with the manufacturer (or supplier) on your behalf.

Automatic Extended Warranty

Don’t pay more for an extended warranty! as all PCGAMER gaming computers and PC workstations are automatically covered by our outrageous extended part warranty. We will honour the individual warranties on the parts in your system that may extend beyond the standard 2 year system warranty. For example parts like power supplies and motherboards often have 3-5 year part warranties. Should anything fail we will hunt down these parts for you.

Temporary Replacement Parts

Additionally where it is possible, we will offer temporary replacement parts to get your PC up and running while we are waiting for warranty claims to be processed by the parts manufacturer or the parts supplier.

This can take between 2 weeks (when the faulty part is new and still in common stock) or sometimes up to 6 months (eg if the part fails on the 5th year of its 5year warranty).

These temporary replacement parts provided by PCGAMER are unlikely to be the same as the parts under investigation, however they will be good enough to make your PC “usable” while we wait for the original part warranties to be processed.

Changes Made to original Spec

We do encourage DIY upgrades to your PC, however please understand that we cannot provide our quality guarantee & warranty to any parts that are not original to the system.

Additionally we cannot be held responsible for any damages the original system components (purchased from PCGAMER) may cause to other PCs if they end up being migrated into another system.

Warranty Exclusions

It is important to note that our quality guarantee and warranty is unable to cover damage or faults due to the following instances:

Physical damage, such as dropping the PC or damage done while in transit.
Damaged caused by irregular mains power such as a power surges etc.
Damage caused by environmental effects such as salt, condensation / moisture or extreme heat.
DIY upgrades causing damage to the original system components purchased from PCGAMER.
Damage caused by the improper or incorrect use of software, eg: corrupted Windows operating systems or bad BIOS updates.

  Despite building my own PCs for the past 30 years, it was so worthwhile taking my PC in to see Kym to help diagnose a very frustrating intermittent fault.
He was super friendly, helpful and generous with his time while trying to sort it out.
I'll be getting him to help out with all my future builds for sure, just to have that extra local backstop for when things inevitably go wrong.

  Kym was an absolute legend! He was enthusiastic, full of energy and a wealth of knowledge. I think he was looking forward to the build more than I was and the results speak for themselves.

I came to Kym with a dream build and a few parts that I had accumulated and he ran with it. He built the PC as if it was his own and it looks amazing and performs well above what I was expecting. It was ready to take home, plug in and game away.

I highly recommend Kym at PC Gamer for all your PC needs, hes professional enthusiastic and an all round top bloke!

  Kym absolutely kills it. I got stuck with a broken Allied mess, but Kim took everything that was still good, merged it with a proper build and I've now got a rig I can be proud of. Amazing knowledge, impeccable customer service and the turnaround was faster than I had could have wished for. Will definitely be a return customer!

  Kym is an absolute legend his knowledge is second to none i had ideas for my dream pc and he made it a reality he was honest and gave me good advice so I didn't waste my money on things I didn't need even though he easily could have charged me more. Great price top tier service and you get the personal touch from a local legend that you just don't get from big online stores. The only negative thing is Google only lets you give 5 stars otherwise I would give more! Thanks PC Gamer will never go anywhere else for my computing needs!!!
